I rarely get to be in the pictures I take so I forced my kids to pose with me and I love the results.
Every year I attempt to take my own Christmas card pictures and this year I thought having my sister snap a few would get me better results. Little did I know I'd end up with the perfect shot to express life with a three year old. Here's to trying again this weekend and hoping for a shot where everyone is looking.
I happened to get this shot and love it. The baby's hand that's up, the mommy catching the toddler with both mom and dad laughing, just makes me laugh. Totally what life is like with kids in one shot.
This is what happens when your daughter turns two and no longer lets you get great shots of her. You end up with silly smiles and fingers in the mouth shots. I guess those are priceless too.
Spending the afternoon with the Corder family was a ton of fun. Here are some of the extra shots we got.
Luca is a very fun little 5 year old whose mom wanted me to photograph his fun birthday party. This was not just any party, but a Star Wars themed party and his fabulous family added such cute touches to his special day. Here are some of the fun shots I was able to capture of Luca, his friends and family enjoying the fabulous day. Monday afternoon I got the chance to meet the Lewis family. I was introduced to them from one of my best friends and was so glad they could be my subjects and I could take their family photographs. It happened to be a fabulous day for pictures and despite a few breezes it was super nice out. This family is so much fun and their three kids are adorable and were so easy to photograph. It was such fun meeting them and enjoying the warm weather, while capturing a few family photographs for this great family. Although she is two, and maybe no longer considered a baby, I think Angelina's mommy would think of her as her baby. This little girl is so adorable and I had such a great time photographing her smile, frown, and giggle in the park. The first picture she let me take was the most serious little look I have ever seen but as soon as she got comfortable the cute little smiles totally came out. Oh and her mommy is gorgeous so of course this little one is the cutest ever. These kids are so fabulous and fun. Jax, the darker haired little guy, stayed perfectly still for every shot, what a sweetie. Danica, the princess, was proper and silly the whole morning and her cute little smile is one of my favorites. Henry would stay still for one shot and then pop up and run away for the next, but he looks so happy in all of the ones we got of these little ones. They are too cute. |
