In the Bay Area your options for getting married the day you get your license are sort of limited to The San Francisco City Hall or in Oakland, at the Alameda County Clerk-Recorder's office. My gorgeous coworker and her guy wanted something quick and easy to get to and the Alameda County Clerk-Recorder's office worked best and I have to say it turned out to be the most well said ceremony I've seen so far. The room is cute, small and perfect so I totally recommend it to anyone looking to elope the day of.

I love shoes! I completely wish I had worn more fun and unique shoes for my own wedding. The bride in the last wedding I had the privilege of photographing did a great job of finding fabulous shoes. I loved that I could use them to get this shot.
The wedding day for my May bride started off beautiful, but ended with sprinkles during the ceremony. The gray sky only added to the pictures though. I thought I would share a fun one, while I'm in the process of editing them all.
Such a fun group and a beautiful bridal party! In helping my sister plan her wedding I can across these amazing bouquet ideas and wanted to pass them along.

These options are so creative and unique and I so wish I could have done something like this for my wedding. Hopefully you enjoyed taking a peek! On August 5th I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Amanda and Kevin in Livermore at Wente's Murrieta's Well location. Below are some more fun photographs from their day.
This past Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Allison & Tom's fabulous wedding day. Although the weather did not turn out the way we hoped, the day went smoothly, and we ended up with some great shots of this fabulous couple and their friends and family. The bridal party started out on near the marina in a beautiful house with great music and food to prep. I was able to snap a few getting ready shots without making it seem like I was even there. I love it when I can take shots without anyone noticing. It is a fun surprise later for the bride and groom to look at their pictures and think 'wow I didn't even know she got that'. The wedding party and family members then made their way across to Crissy Field where the Allison walked down a wooden aisle to marry Tom on the beach. The wind made it super cold but the ceremony was beautiful and although we could get the bridal party shots done on the beach we were able to get a few fabulous shots of the new Mr. & Mrs. on the beach. The reception took place at Perbacco, in downtown San Francisco, which had some amazing food and a great upper room reception location. The staff was incredible and the city setting was perfect for this wine loving, fun couple. The bride and groom treated their guests to some amazing bottles of 96, 93, and 92 Merlot. Altogether it was a perfect day and I hope Allison and Tom truly enjoyed their San Francisco wedding. I had the fun privilege of photographing Jeanne's bridal shower in Pleasanton, where her great friends and family hosted a decked out party with the cutest favors. Here are some fun shots of the bride and her friends. |
