This is what happens when your daughter turns two and no longer lets you get great shots of her. You end up with silly smiles and fingers in the mouth shots. I guess those are priceless too.
I love shoes! I completely wish I had worn more fun and unique shoes for my own wedding. The bride in the last wedding I had the privilege of photographing did a great job of finding fabulous shoes. I loved that I could use them to get this shot.
Spending the afternoon with the Corder family was a ton of fun. Here are some of the extra shots we got.
I photographed my first wedding at Fremont's Shinn Park this weekend. If you live near this location, and are planning a wedding, you should definitely look into this place. Its a garden setting and the wedding this weekend looked so cute done on the grounds of this park, in front of the historic home on the property. Happy Wedding Planning everyone!
http://www.fremont.gov/index.aspx?nid=325 Pictures to come soon! The wedding day for my May bride started off beautiful, but ended with sprinkles during the ceremony. The gray sky only added to the pictures though. I thought I would share a fun one, while I'm in the process of editing them all.
Such a fun group and a beautiful bridal party! In helping my sister plan her wedding I can across these amazing bouquet ideas and wanted to pass them along.

These options are so creative and unique and I so wish I could have done something like this for my wedding. Hopefully you enjoyed taking a peek! Being the mother of a very fast, little one year old has made keeping this mini-blog current a bit difficult. Since I have a free moment I thought I'd share fun stuff that isn't photography related. I love photography in general and my daughter is one of my new subjects since, well she is little and cute, and although she is fast, she can't run all that far away from my camera lense. When I'm not taking pictures of her, or checking my email. I am reading.
I am a huge book nerd and read an insane amount of books a week. I love it. Its so funny because in college I'm pretty sure the only book I read front to back was my accounting book. Weird, but it was actually well written and clear for being a text book. So I have to say that I am somewhat surprised to find myself reading like 4 books a week or more. But I love it. I also love that paperbackswap.com makes it so I can afford to read that much. Plus you get two free book credits right off the bat, its free and super easy to trade books. I love www.amazon.com and buy most of my books from there but man can it add up. Why I didn't think to check a library first is beyond me, but they really do have current books I like which surprised me. So if you are a secret nerd too, totally check out paperbackswap. My husband and I love it. In the theme of things I like I thought I would share my favorite websites below. Have a great week! - Elizabeth Koski http://danabicker.blogspot.com (a blog by my very witty friend Dana) www.paperbackswap.com http://www.livermore.lib.ca.us/ (The Livermore Civic Center library is awesome. They also have story time if your a mommy too) http://www.jtv.com http://www.fitwithbrit.com/ (A friend of mine who is an awesome personal trainer) www.people.com (I love this website) Enjoy!!! |
