I love black and white photography and film truly allows to really get a great image with such depth. Below are some of my silver gelatin prints which are hand developed and hand processed onto fiber paper. I have way too many to post but below are some of the ones I love.

(the below images are digital photographs of the actual silver gelatin prints which are 11x14 in size)

This past Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Allison & Tom's fabulous wedding day. Although the weather did not turn out the way we hoped, the day went smoothly, and we ended up with some great shots of this fabulous couple and their friends and family. The bridal party started out on near the marina in a beautiful house with great music and food to prep. I was able to snap a few getting ready shots without making it seem like I was even there. I love it when I can take shots without anyone noticing. It is a fun surprise later for the bride and groom to look at their pictures and think 'wow I didn't even know she got that'.

The wedding party and family members then made their way across to Crissy Field where the Allison walked down a wooden aisle to marry Tom on the beach. The wind made it super cold but the ceremony was beautiful and although we could get the bridal party shots done on the beach we were able to get a few fabulous shots of the new Mr. & Mrs. on the beach.

The reception took place at Perbacco, in downtown San Francisco, which had some amazing food and a great upper room reception location. The staff was incredible and the city setting was perfect for this wine loving, fun couple. The bride and groom treated their guests to some amazing bottles of 96, 93, and 92 Merlot. Altogether it was a perfect day and I hope Allison and Tom truly enjoyed their San Francisco wedding.

Art Photography 05/01/2009

In an effort to organize my website and try and keep as many photos up as possible, I eliminated my art category. Below are some of the fun shots I did have up.

Little Jedi 04/24/2009

Luca is a very fun little 5 year old whose mom wanted me to photograph his fun birthday party. This was not just any party, but a Star Wars themed party and his fabulous family added such cute touches to his special day. Here are some of the fun shots I was able to capture of Luca, his friends and family enjoying the fabulous day.

I had the fun privilege of photographing Jeanne's bridal shower in Pleasanton, where her great friends and family hosted a decked out party with the cutest favors. Here are some fun shots of the bride and her friends.

I love these two fabulous people. Stefanie happens to be my little sister. Not so little though since she is taller than me and only three years younger. She is beautiful and she can always make me laugh. She is also one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. I had the pleasure of photographing her and her fabulous boyfriend Scott this afternoon and we had a fun time trying to get them to make some what serious faces. Stefanie is so much fun to be around and Scott seems to love being around her too. She can totally bring out a smile in him and he can completely make her overjoyed. It was really fun to spend the day with them and get a few great photographs.

I am thrilled to announce that Elizabeth Jane Photography is now a Wedding Chicks preferred vendor. You can now find me at www.weddingchicks.com listed under California, San Jose/SF Bay Area.

Amy & Jocey of
www.weddingchicks.com did a fabulous job creating their site to help brides to be! They launched their site on March 17, 2008 and get 100,000 views a month. This site is such a fun resource and has real vendors posting  wedding photos and details of their services. It is a great resource for brides or those helping friends plan a wedding.  I would have loved to have had their site around to use their resources when I was planning my wedding almost three years ago.

Definitely check out their site for fun or for research!

This weekend I covered the bridal shower for Jeanne and I wanted to post a few of the fun details her friends planned for her party. They had these awesome decorative elements and these fabulous cupcakes from this new bakery in Livermore near the Panama coffee shop. One of Jeanne close friends took her favorite engagement photograph and had wine labels made, so cute.
The party turned out fabulous and I got some great pictures of her family and friends enjoying celebrating her upcoming wedding.

The Lewis Family 04/07/2009

Monday afternoon I got the chance to meet the Lewis family. I was introduced to them from one of my best friends and was so glad they could be my subjects and I could take their family photographs. It happened to be a fabulous day for pictures and despite a few breezes it was super nice out. This family is so much fun and their three kids are adorable and were so easy to photograph. It was such fun meeting them and enjoying the warm weather, while capturing a few family photographs for this great family.

Jeanne & Brian 04/03/2009

Since the future bride and groom have already seen their photographs I thought it would be time to share about our great photo shoot. Saturday turned out to be a perfect day, maybe a little too warm, but perfect nonetheless. We got a chance to try some of my new secret (not that secret) spots and the photographs turned out great. I think these two are so fun and just from spending the afternoon together it seems like they are truly in love and so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. I am so excited to be their wedding photographer as well and can't wait to see Jeanne walk down the aisle as the beautiful bride that she is.
